  • Nannies placed through Southern Nannies Plus are expected to perform all duties directly related to the care, safety, and well-being of the children in their care. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Children’s laundry, including stain treatment when needed • Preparing meals and snacks for the children • Cleaning and sanitizing bottles, dishes, and feeding supplies used by the children • Cleaning and sanitizing high chairs, booster seats, and feeding areas • Keeping children’s bedrooms, playrooms, and activity areas clean, organized, and tidy • Maintaining clean diapering and changing areas • Ensuring diapers, wipes, and child-related supplies remain stocked and organized • Planning and engaging children in age-appropriate activities each day • Reading to and interacting with children daily • Maintaining clean and organized toys, books, and child-related equipment • Keeping children’s car seats clean and maintained • Keeping kitchen areas used for child meal preparation neat and uncluttered • Preparing bottles and meals as needed during scheduled work hours • Maintaining a daily communication log or journal when requested by the family • Providing attentive supervision and prioritizing the safety and well-being of the children at all times
  • Nannies placed through Southern Nannies Plus are expected to maintain professional conduct at all times while on duty. Personal phone calls should be limited to emergencies or urgent matters. Visitors are not permitted in the employer’s home unless prior approval has been given by the parents. Outings with children require parental knowledge and approval. Personal errands should not be conducted during scheduled work hours unless specifically approved by the family. Television and electronic devices should be used only as directed or approved by the parents. Music, videos, and other media should be age-appropriate and approved by the parents. Nannies are expected to remain attentive, engaged, and focused on the safety, supervision, and well-being of the children in their care. Please Note: Every family operates differently. Nannies are expected to respect and follow the household rules, parenting preferences, and routines established by the parents.
